On September 23, 2025, the Matai’an Creek in Hualien overflowed after continuous heavy rainfall, officially recognized as the “0923 Hualien Matai’an Creek Landslide Lake Disaster.” In response, Kyang Yhe Delicate Machine Co., Ltd. mobilized its resources and team to provide on-site disaster relief, living up to its core values of Integrity, Innovation, Excellence, and Co-prosperity.

From On-site Inspection to Hands-on Assistance

On September 28, Kyang Yhe’s chairman personally visited the disaster area to assess the situation. The following day (September 29), the company dispatched a small truck to deliver essential relief materials and support early-stage cleanup.
On October 2, Kyang Yhe organized a volunteer team of employees to join the Hualien recovery efforts — assisting residents in cleaning damaged homes, removing debris, and transporting supplies. The company also launched an internal fundraising initiative, “Hope in Motion,” which aimed to donate 100 electric bicycles to affected residents and rescue teams.
By October 15, the initiative had successfully raised and delivered 140 electric bicycles, helping restore mobility and daily transportation in the disaster area — a symbolic yet practical step toward rebuilding community resilience.
